Sniff's Utils
A personal collection of PAYDAY 2 Quality-of-Life mods, made to reduce mod count and ease control of its features. Made for personal use but released as a lightweight out-of-the-box modded experience for players who have never modded the game before, or those who find it comfortable to have a bunch of their common mods in the same place.
Any other mod will work fine with this as long as there's not any conflicts. If you suffer from crashes that explicitly mention Sniff's Utils in their log, please let me know through an issue on GitHub or a comment here so I can fix it!
As of writing, the following mods are included:
- No More Ads by kaiden
- SteamOverFBI by Literally the Crash, fixed by Trueboy
- Reconnect to Server by Luffy
- Low Violence Mode by Schmuddel
- No Screen Shake v2 by Tendo (original mod by sydch)
- PocoHUD Sticky Interaction Standalone by test1
- Stop the crimespree loss on crash by Sora
- Short Names for Weapon Color Categories by Cyril DeRoach
- Load Steam Inventory Once by Sora
- Keep Assigned Skill Sets by Mosder
- Automatically Equip ICTV Armor by Dr_Newbie
- No Fade to Black by Luffy
- Skip Blackscreen and Auto-Card Select Standalone by Iron Predator
- Stat Screen Speed Up by vulkar97
Also includes a settings menu in Mod Options to toggle certain features that some users may not want to use
I think X mod should be added!
First of all, check for mods that have already been suggested here.
If your suggestion isn't a duplicate, check the suggestion guidelines, your mod may be considered over others for certain criteria mentioned there. There are also instructions on how to add your own mods if you just want them on your game and not for everyone to download here.
NONE OF THE CODE IS MY OWN! All mods are licensed individually (or not at all) depending on the author's wishes. You, as the developer of any of these mods, are free to request your mod from being removed.

Hmm, it seems too aggressive against newer players given that it removes the difference between press/hold in interaction prompts. I'd rather adding mods that make the game less annoying in general for all types of players like SteamOverFBI, Reconnect to server, Keep Assigned Skill Sets or Sticky Interaction.
You can always download any mod you want and hook its lua file/s into mod.txt in the Sniff's Utils folder and it should work as long as it doesn't conflict with anything else. The only problem is that mods with configuration screens are trickier to add without making a global settings menu and hooking everything up there but, realistically, you can add whatever you want! I'll consider taking that step forward in a future release if it's worth the effort.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway, I really appreciate people showing interest in something as personal as this! I'll probably make suggestion guidelines in the near future that indicate what mods are most likely to be added into this release, and also mention how to add more mods manually if you want to have a specific thing for yourself.
@Synnef oki no problem
