Hey man, first of all, I can say that this mod adds excitement and enjoyment despite the hard-struggling part in the game, but overall this mod really brings challenge and fun at the same time!

However, I wonder if, in the future, could you at least add an option that can change setting for the mod itself? Like modifying stuff that I think is more balance/challenge.

imo the damage reduction of flat 50% at the start, making most casual medium damage (50-70) AR struggling, even with crit. But some players might find work with Berserker Anarchist or Sniper. Leaving the players to use the Zerk Anarchist meta, which I didn't like Anarchist at all. I feel like if it forced players to use the same setup, it wouldn't be fun at all.

I find it, at least 20-40% dmg reduction would be in the sweet spot, or better not add damage reduction at all but spawn 66.6% double headless Dozers and add up into like 75-80% and more frequency spawn. This would help some others to use any other perk decks their master/like, rather than stick with Anarchist Berserker.

Just my opinion, if you want it to keep in the future, it would be awesome, and I might bring this mod up for my livestream 😁

Thanks for the kind words!
I agree that usage of lower end weapons is tough in this mod, but that's unfortunately not up to me, but to Overkill's balance philosophy of making some weapons less viable then others for no good reason, except for player's progression for very first 100 levels.

Also amount of stack-able DPS related skills can allow you to get to absurd levels of damage with a decent bunch of weapons in this game, and this mod was made to push you to your limits, so here goes weapon variety: down the drain.

I know that this solution is not for everyone, but i recommend trying weapon rebalancing mods, either mine - Gilza, or someone else's. I've heard Hinaomi's is pretty good.

As for difficulty tweaking, i most likely won't do so. I've already tried making adjustable sliders for certain parts of a similar mod - Death Wish +. In that case it led to way too much uncertainty. Let's say you don't like DSBW enough to host it, but you might like playing it every now and then. It would then be awful if every other DSBW lobby had different settings and different enemy aggression/pressure levels. I MIGHT one day make a similar thing i did in dw+, and add difficulty presets, but i'd try to avoid that for as long as possible, preferably forever.
