Thank you for adding my favorite assault rifle to the game! I have one issue with it though: the gun shot sound (same with your G36K mod) is very quiet so that you can almost not hear it. Is there any way to increase its volume?
I have the newest version of BeardLib installed and never had the old BLT so there was no file or base folder for me to delete when installing SuperBLT. I also have https://modworkshop.net/mod/20403 installed, because without it the weapon had no sound at all.
I also tried out this mod https://modworkshop.net/mod/25729 which adds a slightly different HK416 to the game whose sounds work perfectly well.
Since last SuperBLT update custom sounds on some user ends (depends on soundcard/audio setup) sounds noticeable worse or quieter.
You can use this mod to remove custom sounds from custom weapons and they will fallback to PD2 sounds.
Which vanilla sound does your 416 use? And is there any way to change that? I just installed Hawks Soundpack to get some cooler sounds and I noticed that the 416 doesnt use the Bootleg Rifle sound, and I believe it doesnt use AMR or CAR either?
Still sounds pretty good with Hawks mod but it'd be cool if it would use the Bootleg Rifle sound.
In most cases it uses sounds of weapon listed in description for "Weapon will appear for other players" text so in this case its M4 sounds. Changing it would require editing few files so i don't recommend tweaking that unless you known PD2 soundbanks and IDs well.
