So ever since Payday 3 released, I've seen several people take a crack at porting its music over to Payday 2, and I will admit there have been... some winners. However, thanks to whereribbonsfly and his extraction of the Payday 3 audio files (BTW, this is my source for any mods checking for sources), I was able to use Audacity's BPM snap system to create what I believe to be a definitive version of the PAYDAY 3 heist music converted to Payday 2's heist music format using the BeardLib system.
What this contains:
Under Construction (An original track Gustavo composed for the PAYDAY 3 Beta back in 2020)
Once a Heister... (custom anticipation track made from the combat tutorial stealth track)
No Rest for the Wicked (heist and track name are the same)
Contra (Road Rage)
Ruby Ruse (Dirty Ice)
CryptoShot (Rock The Cradle)
Masterful Deceit (Under The Surphaze)
Heatwave (Gold & Sharke)
Ice Punch (99 Boxes)
Sky High Score (Touch The Sky)
The Ghost (Turbid Station)
Let Them Cook (Cook Off)
Bitcrusher (Syntax Error)
Siren Rush (Boys in Blue)
Teardown Protocol (Houston Breakout)
Blockbuster (Diamond District)
Pump and Dump (Fear and Greed)
Pressure Point (First World Bank)
Extra notes:
- Tracks that have multiple "control" tracks will have them play at random each time
- Tracks that have a MarioInATopHat cover have a chance for that version to play at random (albeit a low chance, will get updated when he releases more covers)
- There is a separate download for the MarioInATopHat covers to reduce mod upload size since there's a limit of 250 MB I can upload to this page (will make a separate page if necessary).
- CryptoShot has a bit of a cheeky secret, but you'll need to be extra lucky to hear that one in-game!

Wait, is that how Beardlib music packs are organized nowadays? Weird how I'm looking into the folder structure for it, and I was wondering what I was doing wrong here.
Cool pack, though.
Yep, what you're looking at is an example of how the BeardLib system works. Only real drawback though is that the "Stealth" system for it is a bit broken ATM as it doesn't work for some reason. Hopefully the BeardLib devs fix this soon.
Also, glad you enjoyed it! Stick around because I'm actually planning to release a minor update soon with a revised version of "Once a Heister" that, in my opinion, is much better than what I had before.
What's wrong with the "stealth" system?
@insomnia Well, even when I follow the instructions for creating a stealth track using the BeardLib system, the audio I use for the tracks never actually plays in-game. And I'm not the only one with this problem. A good example of this is the custom music made for Sniper Assassin (a custom Payday 2 stealth only heist). The files themselves are just fine, but the game never plays the files for some reason.
@toughsun14 I know that custom mission. Also I made a stealth only version for No Rest for the Wicked. Yes, custom stealth tracks are bugged, but I found that it's really only the first phase that doesn't work right. When the game transitions to phase 2, the music starts working.
In Offline mode, if you start the mission right after you select the custom stealth track, everything works just fine. You can do the same trick in Online mode, though the phase 1 music won't play, but when the game starts the phase 2 music, it will start to work again.
I probably sound insane but trust me, I'm telling the truth.
@insomnia Well, I'll admit you do sound a bit crazy because I just tried another run of a custom stealth track and not a single track played in the heist. I loaded up shadow raid, went to soundtrack, selected the custom track, started the heist and it didn't work the entire time. Either I'm doing something wrong or the beardlib stealth system really is broke, I don't know at this point.
@toughsun14 Guess you didn't do it right.
In the preplanning phase, press the Soundtrack button, you'll notice the music during the preplanning phase is muted. Select a vanilla track, and the selected track starts playing, then select a modded track. The custom track won't play in the menu, but while the track has just been selected, press the Ready button, when you spawn into the mission, the custom stealth track will play as intended.
@insomnia Nope. Tried it your way, still didn't work.
