The Next Generation Chinese Assault Rifle from Payday 3 and backported into Payday 2.
The QBZ 191 will appear as the AK5C.
Stat-wise, the QBZ191 is a pretty unremarkable clone of the vanilla AK5.
Known Issues Folded Irons have the wrong depth scaling template, but this error does not affect weapon functionality.
Probable Future Asked Questions Q: Why does it look weird, texture-wise? I apologize, as this was an experiment in using Substance Painter and in working with Payday 3 assets. As far as I can tell for Payday 3 weapons, there's no albedo map and Payday 3 instead generates their textures from colors like Halo Infinite does (despite being Unreal and albedo/ORM/normal being a thing but whatever). So I decided to create the diffuses in substance painter when lacking the option of blender texture baking. As far as substance painter went, I think I got pretty damn close to the Payday 3 textures (see below), but Painday 2's lack of true PBR shaders made the translation ... not so good.
Q: You do know the real version has more modular parts, right? When can I get QBU-191 or the LSW version? A: This was actually made from mining the beta files, so idk if there is a DMR length barrel available in the final game. I am hoping Overkill adds the DMR length QBU MLOK handguard as an option for the QBZ.
Does it Keyhole at 20ft too?
Lol
No, because you actually remembered to load live ammunition to rob banks, not (rubber?) training ammunition.
@rjc9000 oh, that was the explanation. i assumed it had to do with machine-ing or rifling. good to know!
