The Secondary EVO will appear as the vanilla MPX (Signature) and is unlocked at level 46.
The Primary EVO will appear as the vanilla TAR21 (Tempest) and is unlocked at level 46. It will appear in the special weapon category and is considered an assault rifle for purposes of skills.
The MW2019 EVO is a fast firing, low damage SMG that melts in close quarters and is excellent for fishing for Crits ... in exchange for rapidly kicking upwards if attempt to dump stability.

As the high fire rate bullethose archetype of SMGs, the MW2019 EVO has a stats spread as you'd expect in Payday: large ammo pool, subpar damage, high fire rate, great concealment. In many ways, it serves as an inverse to that Halo SMG I made: the CX9 has a problem of recoil (stability) rather than the M7 Caseless' spread (accuracy) problem.
The damage is mediocre at 50, which may not be great per shot, but with the 1034 RPM of MW2019's fire rate, your DPS is more than adequate.
The total ammo capacity is great at 9 magazines, or 180 total bullets and a high ammo pickup of 5-10 bullets at base. Plenty to spray and pray with.
The concealment is above average at a base of 22, with default mods placing you at 24. There are quite a few mods that increase your concealment, to the point where you can hit the high 20s/low 30s with certain mods.
The accuracy for a SMG is middle of the road at a base of 52. Passable enough in CQB and can be bumped rather high with the correct mods.
The noticeable and intentional weakness of the CX-9 is the low base stability at 32, which combined with the high fire rate and above average kick, means that you will quickly be aiming at the sky. Your goal as a player is to work around this kick.
Whether it's to simply build stability, shoot the gun in semi auto/burst, dump stability and shove the gun in enemy faces, pull the mouse down more vigorously (the recoil is mostly vertical, not horizontal), or ... changing the stats yourself in the XML. I am told by MW2019 players that this thing has 0 recoil and is horribly broken, so maybe you prefer the weapon to be 100% Accurate to the source material.
All of the exclusive weapon mods from MW2019 show up for the CX-9. I have decoupled the barrels from the handguards, which lets you mix and match, but also means you have the opportunity to make cursed combos.
Known Issues:
-The "skinmaps" on the iron sights act up strangely. I dont know what the issue is, as I checked the UVs and they are correctly mapped.
-If you use certain barrel/handguard/suppressor combos (like the CS23 barrel with CX38 with Frenchy's Bacon Suppressor), you will have clipping issues. Short of overly egregious combos of handguards/barrels, I am not stopping you from intentionally being silly with barrel/handguard combos, you just have to realize the problem of wanting to make cursed guns.
-If you use More Ammunition Types, the Primary EVO is conspicuously missing the MAT 9mm ammo types. An oversight on my part.

A: If you saw the original upload date, you'll see this weapon was made many months ago, as I made this weapon on a whim to stave off the boredom of waiting for FE: Three Hopes to come out. Then I remembered Killerkrayola was offering a $50 bounty for a Scorpion EVO with skinmaps and decided to try my hand at skinmaps...
Q: Where is the MW2019 firing sound?
A: I dont have Warzone installed, so the BO2 sounds will do for now.
Q: Werent you supposed to be working with Halo stuff?
A: Actually, working with Halo Infinite assets gave me a flash of inspiration as to how to unscrew the Scorpion's skinmaps. Many of the Halo Infinite guns had the "only left side of gun has the UV within the texture frame" problem, as the player is only intended to see the left side of the gun. After fixing the Halo Sniper Rifle's UVs, I realized I could apply the same fix to this Scorpion Evo, so here it is being updated.
Q: Just how many MW2019/BOCW weapons are in your hard drive?!
A: Mostly MW2019, but yes, they're in varying degrees of finished quality. For example, the AA12/JAK12 is finished in terms of parts, but has a strange issue where the sights refuse to align, while the R700/SP208 is still missing some parts/GUI textures.
