Fatal Error could not init eos sdk
When I try to start it, it says Fatal Error could not init eos sdk and won't start I uninstalled PAYDAY2 and reinstalled it on a different SSD, but I get the same error and can't start it PAYDAY2 from the PAYDAY2 community on steam. Control Panel -> Region -> Manage -> Change System Locale -> Beta: Check Use Unicode UTF-8 (U) in Worldwide Language Support If I do this, I can launch the app, but I'm having trouble because the old app is now garbled. Please let me know.

The solution you found worked for most people that have this issue. What do you mean by old app being garbled? Corrupted savefile? if so that happens independently of this setting, a lot of people have trouble with corrupted savefiles right now.
Beta: If you check "Use Unicode UTF-8(U)" in Worldwide Language Support, it only makes the characters displayed in older software look strange and does not seem to affect PAYDAY2 save data, etc.
