📢 ModWorkshop x Sidetrack Games

Hey everyone, Milk here. You might remember me as the one who manages ModWorkshop from behind the scenes.

I've got some good News for all of you.

Me and Luffy decided to join ModWorkshop with Sidetrack Games (the guys who made RAID: WW2 updates and maintain PAYDAY 2)

Going forward that means there wont be any more ads. Nobody liked those anyways.
It also means we will have some more resources to run ModWorkshop, so it'll be a bit faster.

As for how ModWorkshop works and operates, that does not change.
The community continues to be in charge and makes the decisions that matter.

This generally means the burden of everything isn't just on me alone anymore.
And it also means that there is a better future ahead for ModWorkshop.
Running certain things alone has not always been easy.

So to a better future and lots of cool new mods.

Modular invisible hands and weapon | Transparency slider for viewmodel
Avatar

Something like Dr_Newbie's mod, but with binds for hands and weapon. If you press X key, hands become invisible, press it again, visibile; same with the weapon. Save feature so the config isn't lost in between heists.
This was already made by Ambition.

This other one is something I thought about while playing Quake. Quake Live have this feature where you could use a slider (or command - r_drawviewmodel) to make your weapon more or less transparent: 0 to 1 slider (0.4 would make your viewmodel 40% transparent, for example). Save feature so the config isn't lost in between heists.

Took a look at Dr_Newbie's code and the binds to toggle player model and weapons should be easy enough.

The transparency thing I have no idea how to make.

Could have the toggles done either by the end of today or sometime tomorrow, if someone hasn't done it by then.

Thank you, friend. I really appreciate your effort.

I'm not sure if the transparency thing is even possible. Just thought I would give the idea. While extremely niche, I think it would look pretty cool in PD2.

Thank you very much, buddy.
