Mod that disables players' cosmetics
Good day to all, brothers and sisters. Please can y'all clue me in: is there a mod that for a player who uses it disables the other players' cosmetics completely? (Including custom masks, outfits, gloves, etc?) And simply shows others as a default heisters that they use?
No worries about the armor though, there's a mod exists that makes it invisible. There's also a wonderful function in an advanced video settings called: "Use HQ weapons". By disabling it you can no longer see other players' pink and other stupid colored weapons.
The only thing what's left & missing, though, is the turn off the whole cosmetics feature, as I wrote above. It really would do so much work that I cannot even describe it.

Pretty sure the game already does that on its own if you dont share the same mod as them. Since custom masks, outfits, gloves, etc... are all client sided.
In this case, they want ALL cosmetics to be disabled in their game. Not custom as in modded cosmetics, rather, everything that's not default. Free/Community masks, gloves, outfits, DLCs, etc. I'm 90% sure something like this is achievable, but I wouldn't know how apart from painstakingly editing each cosmetic's to be default in LUA. I'm sure there's a way more efficient method.
@Account You got what I meant absolutely right, brother. Was talking about the whole cosmetics to be turned off.
Weapons can easily be forced with the HQ Weapons setting in the graphics option, which you are currently doing. I do believe this can be done, down to the different armor types and even the weapons and attachments so you can retain the HQ look (though I suspect this will affect you too). But I don't know how to do it. Luckily, there's the Default Outfit mod that gets you one step closer there. There's a comment reporting constant lag when using this, so keep that in mind. This is further proof that it can be done, perhaps looking at the decompiled LUA dumps can get you the mask line (if something such as
get_default_mask()exists). I don't know LUA but I'll see if I can contribute any further.
