mod_overrides mod that will remove gray background of default down counter
i want an simple mod that will remove gray down counter background because it looks ugly and not vanilla, i could do it myself if i knew how to edit payday 2 hud textures, so please help guys

The background is not really a unique texture that you can edit, but you can do it by editing its script that composes the HUD elements. Aside from the font, the only other element of the down counter (or internally, revive_panel) that uses textures is the arrow which you can also turn off, Shane's Player Dot with Down Counter is an example.
You can try this small script (Google Drive). It can be used standalone or alongside the aforementioned mod. I didn't test this in-game at all, though.
