So 3 weeks ago, as a response to the flooding of the home page by a new game that got added to the site, I changed the default sorting on the home page to popular (daily), this has been also an experiment to see if we should set it as the default sorting on the home page for good.

Can somebody make a real SL8 for Payday 2?

Hi! I made a mod that tried to make a functional SL8 in Payday 2. It's serviceable and pretty fun to use, but it lacks the same visual flair of the real deal.

You can absolutely use the base game JP36 model, but try to extend and thicken the top rail (if possible), get the color of the gun to be that nice bluish gray, and smooth out parts like the barrel and the long handguard (remove the side rail and bipod).

Stealing the model from the Resident Evil 4 remake is 100% acceptable, but once again it would be dope to have a full-length top rail.

Reuse the base game JP36 animations if you want, you don't need to stress yourself out over custom ones.
