Resmod Murkies
Ports Restoration Mod's Murkywater mercenaries to vanilla and Streamlined Heisting, giving them tier distinction and making them look cooler overall.
Enemy lineup
Spoiler!
Tactical Security (SWAT)
Marine (FBI)
Elite (GenSec)
Special Task Force (ZEAL)
Special units
Options menu
Due to the Murkywater faction in vanilla missing various units, there is an options menu that lets you change how certain enemies look:
Spoiler!
- SWAT Tier: Changes tier 1 lights and M4 heavies to resemble either Tactical Security or Special Task Force.
- Heavy Shotgunners: Changes heavy shotgunners to resemble either Tactical Security, Marine, or Special Task Force.
- Shields: Changes Shields to resemble either Tactical Security, Marine, Elite, or Special Task Force.
After changing an option, you need to restart the game for it to take effect.
Other additions
Spoiler!
- Heavies, Tasers, and Tactical Security Shields will emit visor-shattering or metallic-plinking effects when you pop their helmets.
- Mods that use HopLib (such as Kill Feed and Floating Healthbars) will have different names for the lights and heavies.
- Bulldozers will emit cloth puff effects when you shoot them.
Recommended mods
- Assault Spawngroups Restored: Causes shotgunners to spawn more often and fixes American GenSec heavy shotgunners appearing in Murkywater heists. Should only be used if you don't play SH.
- Benellidozers: Gives Minigundozers the Benelli. Perfect if you want Minigundozers to stay accurate to Resmod and are willing to lock your matchmaking.
Notes
- This was only tested offline but it should work online.
- This mod may be incompatible with other mods that change the appearance of Murkywater.
- Guard Murkies are not affected.
- Tactical Security heavies don't have body armor (like Resmod, unlike vanilla and SH Murkies).
- The Bulldozers' hitboxes are mostly the same as vanilla Murky Dozers, although all of them (except the Minigun/Benelli Dozer) have bigger faceplate and visor hitboxes.
Credits
- Nelson01023 for making a bunch of stuff.
- badatnames for various model edits, such as the heavy Marine shotgunner's body.
