Credit to Jarey for making the base textures for the ZEAL Medic.
Also credit to Dorpenka for designing the Medic shotgunner model, as seen in Shotgunner Medic Redesign.
The Main pack has two versions: The normal version and the OS version.
Normal version
Uses vanilla texture strings meaning that other mods can change the appearances of the outfits. Will not take up as much space as the OS version
OS version
Also known as the Own Strings version. Uses mostly is own texture strings, allowing you to change how the outfits look without changing how the enemies look. Will still use the following vanilla textures:
Spoiler!
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/bulldozer_nm
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/spook_heavy_nm
The Extras pack will use these vanilla textures:
Spoiler!
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/ene_medic_nm
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/ene_medic_head_nm
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/heads_atlas_nm
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/helmets_atlas_nm
units/payday2/characters/shared_textures/swat_body_nm
In both versions of the Main pack, the Cloaker outfit uses a unique texture string for the goggles, as the vanilla texture is more pixel-ly.
Customization ideas
These mods will allow you to change the appearences of the outfits. Some changes can only be done with the OS version.
Spoiler!
- Definitive Old Enemies Restoration: Gives the Taser, Cloaker, and Bulldozers their pre-U183 designs back.
- Jarey's Zeals: Gives the light and heavy a black-and-white color scheme. Also vastly improves the Taser, turns the Cloaker dark blue, and makes the Bulldozers look very similar to their old designs.
- Hyper ZEAL: Similar to the above mod, but turns the light and heavy more white (requires OS), adds more yellow to the Taser, and puts a skull on the M249 Dozer's faceplate among other things.
- ZEAL Redone II: Gives them a dark camo pattern.
If I find more mods, I'll include them here.
Q&A
Q: Can I have both versions of the Main pack installed at once?
A: Haven't tested this yet but I would assume no.
Q: Why is there two of each Bulldozer?
A: The outfits that have the word "Armor" in the name don't have helmets as a reference to the Bulldozer armors in Legendary Armor Skins.
Q: How do I change the textures for the OS version?
A: Go into the mod's folder and into assets/units/zeal/armor_skins then open the folder for the outfit you want to edit. Delete the texture you want to change, then copy and paste the texture that you want to use from another mod into the folder. Make sure it has the exact same name.
Q: Can the textures that can affect the Medic outfit in DCPD Specials Outfit Pack be used for this mod's ZEAL Medic?
A: Yes because they have the exact same model.
Q: My mask is still appearing when I wear an outfit. How do I fix this?
A: Try using Nervatel's Unmasked v2.
