this is a mod that improves the team A.I.
Changes:
Their movement speed is faster overall, not only that but they can run super quick in all directions. Keep in mind their walking speed is extremely fast too, so they could be comparable to PDTH's better bots walking speed.
Team A.I. have their run_start, and run_stop animations removed to be faster. I don't notice a real difference though but its nice to have. (credit: James)
Team A.I. now assist with dominations. (credit: restoration mod) - Team A.I. now dom cops independently. They will still assist of course... It might be a bit buggy but whatever. **(NEW FEATURE ADDED:) ** - When you are in custody, your Team A.I. will be able to immediately dominate cops. Just like how they act in stealth.
Team A.I. do not crouch anymore.. This makes them faster but I understand if you don't like it. Thats why I'm adding two versions in, one w/ crouching and the other w/o. (credit: James)
Team A.I. account for crew alive bonuses and hopefully count for multiplayer spawns (credit: useful bots, hoppip, also schmuddle for his betterbots code for it)
Team A.I. are now cuffed instead of downed by cloakers (credit: restoration mod)
Team A.I. have their civve code improved upon (credit: restoration mod)
Team A.I. have their maximum health and health regeneration nerfed. This is because I bloody hate vanilla team A.I. hp values. I hate it. (credit: hoppip and James) - This is edited on the "no crouch" version.
New Feature! - Team A.I. now have set weapons depending on what heister they are. If they are chains, they have M249's.
At the moment, this only affects:
Dallas
Wolf
Houston
Chains
But in the future I will improve upon the other heisters. - I made it affect all heisters. They should now use their restoration mod counterparts.
Another new Feature: - Team A.I. now call for a doctor bag when at low health.
You should also be able to shoot through bots....hopefully.... idk lmao
I hope this mod improves peoples experiences and most importantly doesn't explode and die in 10 seconds. (this is a cry for help please tell me if I messed anything up in the modding at all pls tell me I beg of you)
(edit as of 12/05/2022:) apparently this mod makes team A.I. fucking stupid as hell on crime.net online or something idk like they will and I quote "lag behind due to desync" or whatever idk but anyway I don't know how to really fix this because keep in mind I have no idea how to mod aside from reading the code and thinking I understand it when in reality I don't know what 95% of it does. so uhhhhhhh, heres apparently what the desync does:
~~the desync only appears when you are a client, and a host is running my mod. The team A.I. will appear almost as if they are delayed, for example: for me, the team A.I. are camping around me. Whilst for you, they're still running from the lobby in big bank.. Typical desync stuffs. If you want a better example:

it shouldn't matter too much though because if you're hosting crime.net, you should very well have human players to rely on instead of team A.I. but eh, I might try to figure out how to fix this...if I can (cough cough send help) - honestly shouldn't be too bad of an issue but eh, idk. desync bad I guess


Hello, author, is there a separate version that only increases the movement speed of AI teammates? I don't like artificial intelligence to help me. I want him to run faster and keep up or even save me.
Done, added a new file to the list called "Speedy Bots" which only contains movement speed related features.
@Luxy thank you for releasing an independent speed shifting version, but I tried to use it for several rounds and couldn't see the improvement of speed shifting. The speed shifting of AI didn't change and still couldn't keep up with me. Can you check it again, fix it or something?
@Luxy I tried to use the full version, but the moving speed is still the same without improvement.
@散人 Basically, after testing things out the A.I. did have a noticable improvement. I do want to know a few things from you however:
1- What is your mod list?
2- Did you put the mod into your mods folder?
3- (silly question) do you have beardlib or superblt installed?
4- If you did put it in your mods folder, what is the bots walking speed? Is it hyper-fast-payday the heist-better-bots looking thing? Or is it the regular "super slow" version? Do A.I. run super quick in all directions too, such as shooting cops from behind whilst running towards the direction of the player? The A.I. should be able to run in all directions whilst going at full speed.

4.When in use or not in use, the speed of AI does not change. When squatting, shooting and walking backward, his speed will obviously decrease a lot. There is no running action or speed improvement when shooting.
They will walk slowly, shoot and go to my position.
@散人 I know what causes the mod to not work...
It's because you are usingg better bots. Also by the way, because of the mods changes - the entirety of bots weapons and equipment will break and crash... I don't know why but it is 100% related to my mod. I'll eventually try fixing that, but atm I am working on trying to get the restoration mod luas out due to incompatiblity issues with other mods. (and desync blah blah y'know)
If you get rid of Better Bots, and Bot Weapons and Improvement, it should work... I don't know if it could be compatible with "speedy bots" version so if you want, test it out.
@Luxy Thank you. I tested the full version and the speed shifting version in several rounds. They are exactly the same as you said. When I use "better bots", both the full version and the speed shifting version can't run, but I didn't find any conflict between the moving speed and "BOT wipens and equipment"
But getting rid of a better robot is difficult, and its functions are useful
I also see that it is difficult to repair the compatibility you mentioned above, but I don't know the code very well and can't help you. I'm sorry
Maybe you can update and add more features to surpass better robot? I like the functions in your mod, which are very excellent and useful

@散人 That's great, overall though I don't want to make my team A.I. mod too complex. Because one feature I found the most annoying about Better Bots is that it made bots..."too" good. They could basically outgun anything and still have 8000 health left to spare. So atm, I'm only making this A.I. mod to be less complex and overall balanced instead of being extremely overpowered.
