This mod is a standalone version of the assault tweaks found in my IreNFist fork. If you are interested in a weapon and enemy rebalance, check it out!

1.3: Fixed crashes in some heists caused by cloaker and winters spawngroups having to be defined.

This mod heavily tweaks assaults and restores some units that were removed (such as FBI Green Shotgunners and Hostage Rescue Teams). Additionally, it also lengthens assault breaks and makes assault spawning pools not so ridiculously big, meaning you can now wipe out assaults again rather than always waiting them out.

Feature overview:

• Assault breaks last longer
• Assault breaks last even longer if you have hostages
• Light Shotgunner units were re-added
• Hostage Rescue Teams were re-added! These lighter units will spawn during assault breaks to try and free any hostages and escort untied civilians.
• Rifleman units will try to flank you more often instead of blindly rushing in
• GenSec UMP/Benelli enemies have been re-added
• Works in public lobbies as long as you're hosting

Lite version: A "lite" version of the mod has been included under Downloads. This version only re-adds flanking riflemen, shotgunners and UMP/Benelli GenSec enemies, but does not alter the assaults and does not re-add HRT units. The HRT's need some invasive code changes to work without crashes and were therefore left out of the lite version.

This mod was balanced with Overkill difficulty and higher in mind. Difficulties lower than Overkill might feel a lot easier.

Installation: Extract zip into PAYDAY 2/mods folder. You must have the BLT hook installed.
