With the VANILLA HUD EXTRAs, it removes the background on the player, teammate, and bot AI panels. Looking at a bright surface or getting flash banged makes it very difficult to see the HUD elements. It also looks weird to have floated text strings on with no background IMO, can that background be added? Thanks.

This will be fixed in the next update
In the meantime you can replace the lua/VanillaHUD.lua file with the below
