Old methods of mod_override music (Bundle method?)
Avatar

Hi

I'm wanting to try and bring one of my more favourite music packs into the modern era, where the songs aren't overwriting base game songs but instead using beardlib to be added as extra tracks. I've no real experience with either method, but I think I get the gist of how people make custom songs for BeardLib. I don't know if this will definitely work, but it would be nice to not have newer payday songs be totally muted (Seems to be a weird problem with .pdbundle music mods specifically)

My problem is that the music pack in question (Hotline Miami Ultimate Pack) does have a mod_overrides method, but it was in the very early days of music modding, and uses .stream files to overwrite base game files. Is this a WWise extension? I don't know what I can do to extract the music from a .stream file (It would save me having to take wild guesses at what songs were being used in stealth portions and redownloading them that way)

And, I suppose with the newer method, what software are people using to convert to a .movie file for the separate assault stages?

Don't know about .movie files, but for converting the .stream files you have to use the wwise adpcm converter to get them into .wavs, from there convert to .ogg with something like audacity and use that for beardlib music addition.
