Your PC is likely infected with malware. Do a proper reset to your computer.

What are we gonna do next? We are going to look for moderators to look at new mods for RTV. We'll be looking into ways to improve the site itself to better protect against these bad actors and also to let users know if a mod was infected - https://modworkshop.net/thread/13229. What can you do? Again if you are infected, factory reset your computer. Search for suspicious things in the mods you download (like "powershell")
These attacks all follow the same pattern, they execute a powershell script using some encoded URL:

No respawn mod request

I would love it and be so grateful that if enemies and loot didn’t respawn in an area, so if you kill 4 out of 10 bandits in village and went to school and went back to village there would still be 6 left and any loot you had already taken was gone. It would stay that way even after going into the shelter unless you died or after 10 game days had passed it could reset? If the number of days could be customisable would be extra cool. Would give more incentive to keep exploring rather than just re looting the same houses over and over again? Is it possible?

I would love this as well. Doesn't need to be forever, but the instant respawn after going to the shelter takes quite a lot out of my immersion.
I think a more time based respawn would be appropriate.

Just some ideas from the top of my head:

  • Have a set of enemies (for example 2-4) respawn after about 1-3 days in game time. They only respawn until the max pool is reached. If this could be independent on where you are on the map, even better. Meaning, the timer on for example village runs despite the player not being on the map.
  • Make it map/territory depended - so either the respawn is faster on higher maps or the other way around (with the right setting options, players could tune it to their liking).
  • Same should go for loot, only having it respawn after a certain in game time period
