Gotta be a bit careful with this one. If you'd follow a game or mod then you should be able to see it, but if you follow a user then you shouldn't be able to.
Private profile in the end don't fully hide the mods of the user so I don't see much logic in hiding it entirely. Although an option could work in the future if people are interested (granted moderators will always see your mods)
I usually set up custom weapon pages as unlisted so the collaborators can have a space to work on the mod but without releasing the mod to the public until it's ready. However, people who follow me and aren't invited as a collaborator can bizarrely access mods despite me purposely private-ing/unlisting those mods to indicate they're a work in progress.
I am also sure this would be annoying for others who wish to private or unlist their mod for other reasons, such as Pawcio purposely setting some weapons to unlisted to indicate they are discontinued.

@rjc9000 As far as I am aware private mods cannot be accessed, if it shown on the list that's a bug. Unlisted can be accessed, but not shown on list.
