The M8A1 will appear to others as the F2000/Union 556 and is unlocked at level 0.

The M8A1 by default is a 4 round burst rifle, just like in BO2/BO7.
If you'd prefer a full auto XM8, you can use the Full Auto attachment to lock the rifle into full auto.
