This is a recreation of Buck's C8 with mostly non Siege assets due to the original C8 being nowhere on the internet.
Yes, we did intentionally recreate the goofs like the M26 MASS being semi-automatic, the left rail being the default gadget rail, the 11.5 barrel length, or classic AR charging handle.
If you'd prefer more "clone correct" parts for a Diemaco C8, they're available with things like the Diemaco charging handle, 15.7 barrel with the Diemaco profile, and the KAC RAS even being the Diemaco pattern with the second bottom clamp (not that you'll see it with the shotgun).
Or the funny handguard optic position that was seen in use by Canadian SOF, probably due to institutional inertia.

Known Issues:
- The Cassian optic is slightly misaligned because wow is it annoying to zero piggyback optics.
- If you pick a stock which exposes the stock adapter (ex: rjc's Retro CAR Parts CAR15 Stock), you'll see the stock adapter's rear is actually hollow.
- Depending on what box of shiny you use, the gadget might be clipping into the KAC rail covers.
- Certain fatter mags like the Quadstacked mags might have issues with going through the magwell during the reload animations.

Q: Does the M26 MASS count as a shotgun for the purposes of shotgun skills?
A: Yes. We anticipated everyone would want to try using it for purposes of proccing Overkill Aced, so go waste 1/5th of your skill points for this gimmick.
Q: Can you port the underbarrel shotgun to vanilla guns?
A: We had to do a lot of hacky things to get this to work with custom weapons having free reign of attachment points. As far as I'm thinking, not really because it would be a pain in the ass to do.
Q: Carry Handle upper with a 1913 mount for the retro vibe?
A: Proposed during the initial testing of the mod, but rejected by the commissioner.
Q: Can you do a R870 style masterkey instead of the M26 MASS?
A: That's a question for how large your animation budget is.
