Weapon commissioned by Yuri Kain
It's a statistical clone of the vanilla AK17/AK12.
No I am not going to enable vanilla attachment compatibility, it was a headache to convert this model into a weapon.
Known Issues:
-
The AK15 model is a bizarre asset that can't decide if it wants to be a high poly render (see: the mesh itself) or low poly game ready model (missing internals). If you're wondering why the flash hider removes the bayonet lug ... I flipped quite a few tables trying to separate the two, only to realize that the bayonet lug model would be half open the moment you replace the flash hider.

Yeah, you can heckle me for not being an AK guy and not knowing the differences between every single regional pattern of AK as well as not knowing the differences between the iterative improvements Kalashnikov has done to the design. Maybe someday ...
-
I'm not actually sure if you can put an ALG Trigger in a genuine AK12/AK15. You reportedly can shove the AK12 trigger group w/ the multiple positions into an AK74/AKM with a little DiY work, but I don't know if the reverse is true. I would have used the Kalashnikov OEM trigger ... if the mesh actually decided to export correctly.

Yes I know you can't see anything out of the irons. Most of you painday players will probably add an optic or hipfire anyways.
Probable Future Asked Questions:
Q: Where pistol grip compatibility
A: 2020 and later editions of AK12 have the pistol grip and trigger guard as a single item that contains part of the cleaning kit
Q: where 2010s style stock
A: just use the vanilla AK17 (AK12)
do you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to separate the stock on this model?
hylie got lucky with the AK19 having an animation, the AK15 and AK12 you have to manually separate face by face
Q: where 2 round burst
A: just wait for DMC to implement it in Resmod
A: probably stuck in the 80s/90s when burst fire as a selector position was a popular concept because governments thought they could use a device to replace training your dudes to shoot better
