"You're just coping, it's impossible to fix" go get your access violated with nothing but this, I fucking dare you.
ok it turns your game into a lawnmower and it sometimes crashes on start but just start it again you'll be fine
read the god damn instructions page
How?
All you do is load the units for the models when they're registered instead of when used, surprised nobody thought of this (or at least posted it publicly.)
So it seemingly did fix changing characters crashing, and multi-day heists crashing while a custom is applied. However, it did seemingly create a few anomalies.
On certain builds its a pain in the ass to even start with this mod in place.
I'm led to believe choosing a mask, then a character overrides the mask entirely and it doesn't appear.
If a client drops-in with a custom character, the host will be changed to that character.
and as I'm now discovering it may crash upon choosing a custom mask after a custom character, and when you load again, it changes the mask back to Dallas. My only additional concern is that these may also be happening in conjunction with another mod called "stop lobby lag" but I'm in doubts.
edit; it also didn't fix multi-day heist crashes, instead created a new "single step" log on occasion, but that might have been me tabbing out or something else freaking out.
@kawaka **Hard to say unless you try it yourself. **
In Single-Player it might be just fine if you don't apply a mask over a custom character.
In multiplayer(synced modded games) with big-lobby, and custom masks, it only makes launching the game a pain in the ass.
Only upside seemingly is that it stops crashing clients when they change characters, seemingly even to the broken ones like RE's Tofu, and Homelander but it causes new ones and weird anomalies.
i haven't seen it change host's outfit, that's weird
yeah your game turns into a lawnmower when starting, there's nothing i can do about it. it seems to be caused by specific outfit mods though?
masks are a bit fucky but there's not much you can do without completely disabling them for everyone
oh also if an outfit is using beardlib's stuff i don't do anything to it because hooking beardlib is a can of worms i don't feel like opening
