Bathrobe
This mod adds a bathrobe as an equippable outfit.
The heisters never seem to get any real relaxing time. The lack of comfortable outfits doesn't help so much either. Now's your time to change that. I guess you could also blend in a bit better in Black Cat.
Notice
- This is my first attempt at an outfit mod. Bugs or other visual problems will likely be present. I did my best to iron out the most obvious problems, but please tell me if there is more. I'll do my best to fix it all.
- This is not a Golden Dagger Tailor Pack Item! There is no DLC required to use this outfit.
- To other players who do not have the mod, the outfit will appear as The Prime on their POVs.
- I've added an extra menu icon texture for the people that like to use the Fednet inventory icons. It's located in:
assets\guis\dlcs\bathrobe\textures\pd2\blackmarket\icons\player_styles\fednet
. There is nothing to see above the legs, don't bother checking.
For modders
- This outfit's internal ID is labeled as
bathrobe
. It's Global ID isbath
. - You can change what animation the character does while the bathrobe is equipped in the outfit selector in
scene_poses.lua
. By default, it's set to "rain", but you can change it to whatever, really. Knock yourself out. - The different models are corresponing to different characters based on their body type and skin tone.

- Niri A. for enduring my nonsense throughout the making of this mod.
Trivia
Spoiler!
- The bathrobe model is ripped from the male and civilian bathhouse models. Of course, I touched the models up to eliminate as much clipping issues as possible. ...Actually, it's just the male model I used for the most part. The female civilians work on a different armature compared to male civilians. Heh, did you know that means female heisters use the male armature? Crazy.
- No real motivation behind this mod. I played Black Cat for the first time a month ago and the moment I saw a bathrobe civilian, I thought "Yes, this is an amazing idea". I'll let you be the judge if that was correct or not.
- As mentioned above, this is my first shot at an outfit mod from scratch. I've edited other outfit mods before, but the changes were never made public and were used just for myself. What a way to start off too, a bathrobe? Seriously? Right on. It's hardly any less ridiculous than some of the official outfit options.
- Some people say fighting in a bathrobe isn't their style. Wait until they play Katana Zero. They'll change their mind very quickly.
- No plans for alternate skins right now. Getting the textures for the different characters to work and look okay was annoying enough. I'll consider it one day though, if I can ever figure it all out.
- I've never worn a bathrobe in real life. Mainly because I just don't own one. I'd imagine it's some kind of luxury. I'm not too sure. Someone tell me about it assuming they have one.
- Why did I spell "sandgres"? I find it funny to put a 'd' after "San" regarding the names of places or someone's name.
- When I was grabbing pictures for the mod page, I went into Black Cat with the highest graphics and more. My game did not crash one single time. Nice.
