So I uninstalled Payday 3, but I've still got this huge stockpile of extracted assets wondering, "What justifiable reason do I have to keep all these on my hard drive?" Rather than deleting them like a sane person ought to, I figured I'd put some of the masks from this shitheap into 2. So, here you have it. The spoils of my random impulses to port stuff from one game to another. Some people actually LIKE the unlockable masks in Payday 3, so this will probably get some use by someone. Every mask is customizable, I hand adjusted all the UVs to ensure that. Except on all the masks where it wasn't necessary. Should be pretty feature complete.
Some of the masks featured have unique properties.
- Waifu mask has physics on the bells and hairties, also has a cubemap on the bells
- Under Wraps has physics on the dangling wrappings
- Rat Fu has physics on the bandanna
- Steamboat Sawyer has a smoke particle on his pipe
"Hey, can you also port this other mask from Payday 3?"
But can we still expect PD3 outfits, or this is it?
i've thought about it, but a lot of the unlockable outfits in Payday 3 are ACDC textures, which I haven't figured out how to get it right for baking a diffuse. The main 4 used wear masks which were slightly easier to bake. It's the same reason I haven't ported pearl to left 4 dead 2 yet.
