The MW2019 PKM will appear to others as the FN MAG/KSP58 and is unlocked at level 25.
The PKM falls somewhere in-between the mobile LMG role of the HK51B and the other 120 damage LMGs like the Brenner 21. Thanks to MW2019, the PKM boasts greater customization compared to most other vanilla LMGs, as you not only can use the usual bipod/gadgets, but also get access to iron sights, optics, and various AR stock attachments.
In exchange, the PKM has somewhat reduced ammo pickup for a 120 damage LMG at a base of 7-8.5, in addition to a comparatively sluggish reload time at 8.5 seconds.
Known Issues
- The view model in general is kind of weird, like your left wrist will be going through the ammo box or being able to see the inside of your left shoulder if you look at the bottom of the screen when the PKM is held idle.
- A good majority of custom optics will be hanging off the cover due to the lack of rail space.
- On tactical (non empty) reloads, the bolt isn't correctly locked back in the open bolt position after the player racks the charging handle. Thank you, MW2019 animations.
- The links only disappear when the reload animation starts. Due to bullet objects only working on 1 thing at a time, masavik compromised by baking the disappearing links into the reload animation.
