The ORIGIN-12 Auto Shotgun unlocks at level 47 and appears as the SKO-12 Shotgun (VD-12 Shotgun).

The shotgun comes pre-packaged with a flashlight gadget (which can be toggled on and off, obviously), and a toggleable 45 degree iron sight. The two attachments cannot be unequipped, and cannot be edited or swapped. I'm considering the idea of making the flashlight fully adjustable like any other flashlight gadget in the game Added in Version 3, as well as adding an alternate laser sight attachment.

Q: Is this gun ever gonna get vanilla PAYDAY 2 attachments, like extensions, gadgets, sights and secondary sights?
A: Possibly in a future update.

Q: Wait a minute, the ORIGIN-12 is not an AUTOMATIC shotgun! It's actually semi-automatic!
A: Well, Dozers in PAYDAY 3 don't seem to give a crap about it. And technically you can fire automatically if you have a very fast trigger finger. But if you'd REALLY like to have an authentic firing experience, simply add FIRE_MODE="single" CAN_TOGGLE_FIREMODE="false" in the weapon node, which is located in main.xml.

Q: Shouldn't the ORIGIN-12 fire a lot faster than approximately 300 rounds per minute?
A: Yeaaaaah, it should, but I couldn't find any documentation on its rate of fire in real life, so I used the value from Warface instead. RoF increased in Version 2
