The Madsen LAR M/62 is unlocked at level 60 and will appear to others as the AK17 (AK12).
The Madsen LAR M/62 plays like most DMRs do: it has higher than average kick, but packs enough damage to get a two shot headshot. I would generally advise using the Madsen in semi auto only to deal with the kick, only swapping to full auto to spray down dozers.
Known Issues:
Depending on your choices of optic, you might experience issues with optics/magnifiers clipping through the rear sight. Seeing as the alleged optic mount was not included in H3VR, I kitbashed a solution to mount optics and can't check every single optic available.
