The L119A2 is mostly a statistical clone of the M16/AMR16 and is unlocked at level 40.
The L119A2 is compatible with ResMod thanks to the efforts of Tangerine Paint/DeadMansChest! If you have ResMod installed, the L119A2 becomes a clone of the M4A1/CAR4.
Known Issues
- If using weapon painter on the default windowed PMAG, only one of the magazines will be painted. This is an unfortunate side effect of how the magazines are cloned for the animation.
- The Gadget Combo will clip into pretty much all vanilla optics and most custom optics when used on the carbine upper. This gadget combo was only oriented for use with my ROMEO4T, just to approximate the Christian Craighead setup.

Q: What's with the hold animation style?
A: This is not only an approximation of how Obi Wan Nairobi holds his rifle, but it also allows for vertical/angled grip compatibility. I am also testing this hold animation style to see if people are aren't too bothered with it so I can use it to update some of my older weapons/use it for future weapons. Please let me know what you think about it!
Notes on the New Hold Animation

I am not sure if this idle position is still technically "thumb over bore" since your thumb isn't directly over the barrel. I specifically asked Masavik to move the left thumb to run mostly parallel to a hypothetical MLOK handguard, rather than have the thumb resting on top of the handguard.
I specifically asked for this style since I think this hold animation retains the core idea of the thumb over bore technique, but this hold style is far more flexible for me as a custom weapons creator. The shorter hold animation makes it far easier for the weapons prefer to make, as the rifle world is moving towards carbines with slim MLOK handguards.
The thumb being parallel to the handguard as opposed to on top of it means I have more options for gadgets and weapons. Notably, I could have the top rail gadget on very short handguards like a 9 inch KAC URX4 instead of the thumb blocking that area. I also believe this style is more compatible with short stroke gas piston guns. For example, the earlier iterations of my MCX Spear LT had the thumb impaled straight through the top rail as an obvious mistake. With this newer style of hold animation, I don't think the impaling is "as" obvious as before.
Lastly, I also asked Masavik to change the ring finger and pinky to be angled as if the player is resting those fingers on an angled grip/vertical grip because I personally like vertical/angled grips.
This idle animation doesn't really work well with older styles of handguards like the KAC RIS quadrail or the DD RIS II handguards; your left palm is impaled straight through those older styles of handguard. I accepted that issue for the more modern weapons I want to do.
Q: Folded Iron sights?
A: They are actually in the files, but many clipping issues occurred with the shorty upper. Besides, I expect most people want to recreate their Christian Craighead build, which lacks the MBUS.
Q: Can we get a cut down latch for the Colt Canada charging handle?
A: The mesh isn't solid, so cutting the latch makes the hole obvious and you can see through the charging handle.
Q: L403A1/KAC KS-1?
A: I did manage to secure a L403A1 asset, to be done in the future when the animations decide to stop fighting me.
