Instructions
Make sure to first have SuperBLT, and BeardLib installed. Click the links in the dependency list.

- After downloading the mod, use a program such as 7zip or WinRAR to extract the main folder of the mod.
- Navigate to
assets/mod_overrides. The assets folder is supposed to be in your game's installation folder (don't know where that is? click here). Create the folder if necessary - Move the main folder of the mod from step 1 to the folder you navigated to in step 2.
This guide provides detailed steps on how to install my PAYDAY 3 Joy mod for PAYDAY 2. Please follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Locate Your PAYDAY 2 Directory
If you're unable to locate your PAYDAY 2 installation folder, navigate to your Steam library, hover over PAYDAY 2 and click on properties or the wrench icon.
There will be a button that leads to the directory of the installed game.
On Epic Games, there's a similar button when you click on the three dots on PAYDAY 2 in your Epic Games Library, there will be a button called manage and it will have a folder icon to it that will open up the directory of PAYDAY 2.
On Epic Games, the path to your games is usually C:\Games\, so it should be C:\Games\PAYDAY2
As for Steam - It's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2.
I personally have the game on my other Drive being D.
Step 2: Find the 'assets' Folder
In the PAYDAY 2 folder, locate and open the 'assets' folder.
Step 3: Create 'mod_overrides' Folder
Inside 'assets', look for a folder named 'mod_overrides'. If it doesn't exist, create one.

Step 4: At Last....
Open the "PAYDAY 3 Joy" mod archive with either Windows's built in zip program feature or just any program that can open up a .zip archive, these days it's either WinRAR or 7-Zip.
Inside the archive you'll find a folder named "PAYDAY 3 Joy".
Extract this folder into your 'mod_overrides' folder.
That's all there is to it! Ensure you have all the dependencies mentioned on the mod page and then you're golden. It'll work from there automatically once you launch the game.
