If I'm reading the code correctly, I'm going to assume the Royal Bayonet isn't unlocking because Overkill made the mod require an unlock & can't be brought. Of course, they forgot to add it to the event timer & they removed it from the event side jobs as a reward. For context, I've completed the Smash And Grab event side job before but the reward is now removed from it. Any chance to add support for the Royal Bayonet mod?
What if you changed the unlock conditions for the bayonet? Pretty sure there's a line in the weaponfactorytweakdata.lua that points to the event side job. Change the line to refer to a side job you've already completed, see what happens.
Edit: Yeah, I figured it out. The bayonet is locked behind a nonexistent DLC called "pda10". This DLC nobody has, so nobody can really get the bayonet. If you change the "dlc =" in the weaponfactorytweakdata.lua under "_init_bessy" to any DLC that you currently own, you can buy the bayonet and use it freely.

I can vouch as of 11/8/24 the link works as well as the mod. It doesn't have anything malicious in it and Insomnia is the goat.
