Steam Save Different User Fixer

Bypasses the "Save data belongs to a different user" error be able to easily move Payday 2 saves from a different Steam or Epic account to a Steam account.
It will not mark you as a cheater for the time being. You can probably remove this mod after the game has saved everything to your user id.

Instructions

The Epic Games saves folder is usually in %localappdata%\PAYDAY 2\saves and is the folder with the longest id.
The Steam Cloud saves folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<userid>\218620\remote. Replace <userid> with your.

Install SuperBLT
Move save files (save000.sav, save098.sav) from the old location to the Steam Cloud saves folder.
Install this mod by extracting the zip files and putting the included folder in the mods folder.
You should now be able to use your old save.

can you explain more about the steam cloud save location
(like where do i drop the epic games progress file)

Sorry, I was out of communication range for a while. You can either place your save files (save000.sav and save098.sav) into your Steam Cloud folder which should be at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<userid>\218620\remote. You can also use your local save path which is %localappdata%\PAYDAY 2\saves\<userid> if the epic save is newer that the current steam save. In both cases the <userid> is your 64 bit steam id which is the number part of your steamcommunity profile link.
