Overview

The Restoration Mod is a complete overhaul mod for Payday 2 that aims to provide a more engaging and varied experience. It completely overhauls skill trees, perk decks, weapons, enemies, enemy AI, stealth, and virtually every other aspect of gameplay. In addition, the overhaul adds a host of additional content; such as new masks, weapons, enemies, randomized time of day, and heists. Also included is the Restoration Hud- which is an optional custom hud that replicates the HUD and certain menus from alpha versions of the game.

Player progress reset: Restoration Mod's Overhaul uses a custom, separate save file to help avoid save corruption and to allow players to easily swap back to the vanilla game. Unfortunately, this means you start back at 0-0 with no money or weapons. At the bottom of the steam guide under Miscellaneous is instructions for either transferring your progress from a vanilla save, or using a feature in the mod to boost yourself to 0-100 instantly.

Hi!

Is it possible to disable the notification of incompatibility between mods? I have "Keepers" installed which depends on "ITER" but the incompatibility message appears every time, however, I have disabled all the ITER options so it does not generate problems.

Hello,

Yes I can understand the frustration there, as it is now the mod just checks to see if you have those mods installed at all instead of just if you have a certain mod option enabled that can cause problems. It's mostly because a lot of mods have issues with lingering effects that may or may not be obvious at first at a superficial level even when disabled entirely.

We may look into expanding the incompatibility warnings to be a more in depth check in the future but as you can understand it's very low on the priority list.

If you insist on just axeing it for personal use, check the file in Restoration Mod named menunodegui. Be aware, that it can possibly cause a bunch of other issues. You have been warned!
