Just saying
You can just make 1 mod that includes all the weapon sounds from a certain game and either have them as separate files or just 1 massive pack and just update it when you make more

Meanwhile on the Steam Workshop: "cAn yOu pLeAsE UpLoAd eVeRy SiNgLe vErSiOn oF yOuR L4D2 mOdS tO tHe wOrKsHoP iNsTeAd oF HaViNg tHeM iN a NeAt aRcHiVe oN GaMeMaPs?"

I am not making a pack of all weapons because:

  1. I am not making all weapons
  2. Somebody else already made some weapon sounds
    So it would very stupid to upload them as "Some Weapon Firing Sounds From CoD Ghosts But Some Also Have Reloading Sounds But Not All Of Them And Some Weapons Are Not Included Because Someone Already Made Them Mini Pack" sort of mod.

@Alex_D #NoWar
You don't have to make the sound pack include all weapons nor sounds, this suggestion was just to make things easier for you instead of making like 50+ seperate mod pages

If someone already made the sounds for it oh well, guess you can make the sounds for everything else

also screw steam workshop of PD2 lmao

@ITEM! what might be easier for me might be more complicated for the end user... or not, depending on said user. It is subjective, because some people would prefer everything packed into one download, others would like them separated so they don't download things they don't need, and I can understand both parties. For example, I ported the Pronghorn model as a remodel of Left 4 Dead 2 bolt action rifles, with and without a scope. So I uploaded one version to the Workshop and three others packed together on Gamemaps (a site similar to this one). It makes it easier for me to manage (updates, etc), makes use of the Workshop's accessibilty, while providing some flexibility. And I don't feel like I'm spamming the Workshop with four identical mods.
And as much as I would like to group the sound mods together, there's oddball cases such as certain weapons from Modern Warfare series sharing the firing sounds between games, so I'd have to effectively duplicate them. I'm actually thinking of grouping them by the source but it can replace several different weapons in Payday 2, such as, I dunno, "MW2 AK-47 sounds for AK, AK 7.62, AK17, and Krinkov AK series" or something like that, instead of grouping them by games...
