The MW2022 AK105 is unlocked at level 16 and will appear as the vanilla AK12 (AK17).
The MW2022 AK103 is unlocked at level 16 and will appear as the vanilla AK12 (AK17).
The AK103 is about what you'd expect of the AK archetype in video games: combining simplicity with damage above the usual rifle damage. It functions as a near statistical clone of the vanilla AK12 (AK17). The RPK receiver is a cosmetic receiver option available to the AK103, as both are chambered in 7.62x39mm for ease of part compatibility.
The AK105 is what you'd expect of an AK chambered in 5.45x39mm: accurate, easy to control, and reliable. It functions as a near statistical clone of the vanilla AK74 (AK Rifle). The AKS-74UN receiver is a conversion tied to the AK105 due to magazine interchangeability. The AKS74UN performs about what you'd expect of a compact carbine: great concealment, slightly gimped accuracy/range due to the shorter barrel profile.
Otherwise, most of the parts from MW2022 make an appearance: stocks, grips, barrels/handguards, and magazines. Mix and match your favorites to create some deranged combo, or go with a plain rifle because nyet, rifle is fine.
Known Issues:
- Depending on the optic used, it will hang off the various optic rails. thank you, limited space
- The Classic Wood/RPK stocks will clip through the receiver's stock adapters. I am told that this mistake (at least for the classic wood stock) was in MW2022 and I don't have those attachments in MW2022, so I have no point of comparison.
- yes i am aware i goofed in letting you use the Finnish RK mag/AKM steel mag in the 5.45 AKs. i am too lazy to take them out
- yes i am also aware the Type 84 magazines should be proprietary to chinese aks and that the optic isnt mounted to the dovetail mount section on the receiver; blame og overkill for making those goofs in payday the heist that I had to replicate
- The Weapon Painter variants strangely seem to only activate when the AK103 pistol grip (Rebel), TrueTac Grip (Cursed), and default AK103 mag (Cursed) are equipped on the gun when booting up Payday 2. I don't know why this is case, I asked Cpone on what the issue could be and even Cpone was stumped.
- Bullet objects on the empty reload do not seem to be working properly, despite the code I put in.

Q: Now that you figured out how to clone a 2nd magazine for 2 magazine animations, can we get vanilla magazines?
A: I could, but I am too lazy to.
Q: Secondary version of the 5.45 AK with default AKS-74UN parts?
A: Probably not, the stance modifiers on the vanilla AKs (not the AK12) are not fun to work with.
Q: Blueprints?
A Most of the blueprints are somewhat boring or are way too garish.
Q: Angled/Vertical Grip?
A: they would effectively require new hold animations, so that means paying for something i'm not personally interested in
Q: More MW2022 guns?
A: in the future
