I have been sitting on this mod since the MW2022 open beta and decided to release it alongside MW2023's Announcement.
The MW2022 M4 will appear as the M4A1 (CAR4) and is unlocked at level 12 (yes yes, I know, doesn't match up to it being the default gun).
You probably know what to expect: yet ANOTHER 64 damage, decent accuracy/stability, high modability assault rifle suitable for a variety of styles. Just dont expect to be able to use the Fightlite MCR/AR57, those will have to be separate weapons for animation reasons.
Stat Notes:
Spoiler!
RPM is 811 RPM, matching the original RPM in Cocaine Warfare 2022.
Ammo statistics are similar to the vanilla M4A1: a base magazine size of 30 rounds, 5 total mags (150 rounds), and an ammo pickup is 2-8.
Base damage is 64 damage, as is the usual with the jack of all trades 5.56 NATO rifles in Payday.
Concealment starts at a base of 18 and can be increased by mods.
Accuracy and stability start at a base of 52 and 44, accounting for the player having slightly less options to increase their stats.
In terms of unique attachments, the only unique one is the M16 conversion, which turns the gun into something approximating the M16 from MW2022.
Known Issues:
-Some handguards dont perfectly fit the C Clamp grip.
-If using Tactical Bolt check standalone, you will notice the bolt will not re-enter battery when you smack the bolt catch (if you check with free flight cam, you'll notice the bolt entering the battery a few seconds after the anim finishes). This is an unfortunate side effect of how PlayBONK enabled the retention reload.
-There might be the occasional forbid or placement that is wrong. This mod has had ~3 animation updates and was continuously updated over the course of a year.
-Magazines NOT exclusive to the weapon (such as vanilla mags or Frenchy's Tacticool mags) will have broken animations due to a recent switch to a retention reload.
Probable Future Asked Questions:
Q: Why do the base stats seem high?
A: Most of my weapons with multiple attachments tend to do this, but I try to make the base weapon a useable workhorse that you just tweak to your preference, as opposed to the vanilla CAR4/M4A1's idea of having bad base stats that gets improved after you tape enough attachments onto it.
Q: Blueprints?
A: Check the Extras pack for some blueprints and other goodies.

Q: Skinmaps?
A: Nah. Happy with the plain textures on the rifle.
Q: Other MW2022 weapons?!
A: /shrug
Q: Cross part compatibility with the MW2019 M4A1?
A: Not all parts will be cross compatible, as the MW2019 M4 using modified 416C (Bootleg) attachment rig while the MW2022 M4 uses the M16 attachment rig.
