(if you don't see any animation go to options -> mod options -> Animated Interaction Circle Options, and select the animation)
Custom Animations/Videos
If you want to make your own animations you need to convert the source video to a .movie file which is just a renamed .bik file. You need RAD Video Tools. FYI: .gif files does not seem to convert too great so you need to turn it into a .mp4 file. If you want your video to have transparency then have a black background and change the blend mode from normal to add in settings. From testing your file should be scaled to 128x128 so that you don't get video artifacts.
You can use the example mod as a guide to make your own animations.
You need to follow the same file structure as the example mod. Replace the video file with your own, Rename the .xml, localization, and mod.lua to reference your video file. The video file can be any name you just have to edit the files to reflect that.
Hey, looks really cool, but been having issues withthe mod, just wanna use ur example but i have moved both files into mods, doesnt work, moved the example file to mod-overrides and kept the other file in mods and still doesnt work, am i doing anything wrong?
Edit - I have toggleed disabled both off and on for every scenario
@TimelessScale still not working, gonna check and verify game files, but sorry if this is a dumb question, just wanna cover all my bases, where do i put each of the files i download from ur page in my directory? sorry about being a pain in the arse
@TimelessScale still not working, i have put the files in the correct destination, every opther mod in my directory works just fine, is there anything else i have to do to get the mod to work? laos when it comes to selecting the animation, it just stays on thinking emoji and i cant move it at all, so im guessing thats all good and sorted there, any other tips to get this to work?
@Alucard try loading into a game and double clicking on animations and select the same one, everytime you load into pd2 you have to load a game and do it, I'm working on a fix right now, but it might take a while.
@TimelessScale yep that got it working one issue tho, i play contoller so this is impossible to do unless you have a keyboard, sorry to be a dick but is there a way to include controller accessibility?
@TimelessScale the pop up box that appears when u click on what animation you wish to select, to make that box appear, u can only do it on keyboard and mouse, you cant open up that box when using a controller for some reason.

@Alucard The base mod should go in the mods folder and the example mod goes to the mods_override folder.

@Alucard Can you elaborate? Is it with settings or something else?
