After three years, it's finally finished
Changes the ZEAL faction's visuals to look like the United States National Guard, completely redesigning their appearance and giving them a new feel. This mod was made because "DHS decides to deploy secret dark legion that they've been training and hiding for decades" seems a bit far-fetched for me, so I decided to turn them into something that feels less cheesy.
There are three versions to this mod. Base, Hyper Heisting and Streamlined Heisting expansion/compatibility patch. Base version is needed for the other two versions to work, and modifies the following units:
- ZEAL HRU/Light
- ZEAL MFR/Heavy
- ZEAL Shield
- ZEAL Taser
- ZEAL Cloaker
- ZEAL Medic M4
- ZEAL Medic R870
- ZEAL Green Dozer
- ZEAL Killdozer
- ZEAL Skulldozer
- ZEAL Medic Dozer
- ZEAL Minigun Dozer
- ZEAL Marksman

The Hyper Heisting version expands on the vanilla roster and makes the mod compatible in Hyper Heisting, which modifies the following units in the overhaul mod on top of the base mod:
- ZEAL Light Shotgunner
- ZEAL Heavy SMG and Shotgunner
- ZEAL Medic Rifle and Shotgunner
- ZEAL Sniper
- ZEAL Ninjas/Veterans (M4 and Dual Pistol)
- ZEAL Punks (Bronco, Mosconi, MP5)
- ZEAL Medic (M4 and R870)

The Streamlined Heisting version does the same thing as the Hyper Heisting version for Streamlined Heisting, but has less roster and limitations to their design. Units modified include:

Compatibility Issues:
- The mod is not compatible with any mods that replace the ZEAL Units, Medic and Minigun Dozer, and ZEAL Marksman
- In v0.4, the National Guard Medics have been added into the base version, which makes it incompatible with mods that change the model of the FBI Medic. Remove the lines that are marked in the main.xml file of the mod to make mods that changes the Medic compatible. Note, this will remove the National Guard Medic from spawning on Death Sentence.

This is probably the best Zeal mod since I never liked how flashy and cartoony the Payday 2 units looked, this mod makes them overall way better looking ^^
But just like the user "adinembohoc" I have the same issue of the mod crashing my game at the menu, keep in mind, I've tried playing the game with only this mod by itself and following the instructions but my game still crashes
These crashes started happening after the Medic update since I played with the mod without issues before the update, as for the crash log is the same one adinembohoc has which I'll send again
I hope you can look into it whenever you have some time, this mod is amazing keep up the good work ^^

That's strange. Given the fact it happened after the medic update, try removing the lines in the main.xml mentioning the National Guard Medic to remove him, since how he was added is a bit janky. Besides that, I recommend you try verifying your file integrity, set texture settings to medium, see if the mod's the cause, and your mod list. The game is pretty unpredictable so it may vary from person to person. I'll be sure to look into it on my end as well.

Well so far from my end I can give you this information if it helps
My PC runs the game really well and at a high frame rate with everything high even with heavy mods installed, so medium textures hasn't changed the situation
When I verify my file integrity everything is fine and I've tried playing the game with ONLY this mod and Beardlib installed and same result
I've also tried testing the mod removing the lines in main.xml related to the Medic update as well which either crashed my game or made the mod stop working overall and not spawn the National Guard Units and use the default vanilla Zeal units
Sorry if this is some sort of a bother or annoys you in some way, just really hope I can get this mod to work since it's my personal favorite and one of the reasons I've gotten back in the game after a year of not touching it
@KRX34 I see. Tested it on my end with a installation from the site, not sure if you've simply auto-updated it because the latest update removed auto-updates as it caused problems, and it seems to be working fine. Assuming you did a fresh install of this mod to test it without mods, the only other things I could think of is that something left over from uninstalling a mod caused the game to corrupt a bit, like weapon mods if you haven't sold the weapon from your inventory before uninstalling the mod, but if that's not the case, I don't think I could provide much solutions other than trying to deduce which mod conflicts with this one, and a fresh install of the game to refresh what the game loads.
Hope you're able to get the mod working, if this version, which adds a fair amount of optimisation features and the National Guard medic, doesn't work, I could try fetching an older version if you've exhausted every option you could try.

I know it is strange, cuz i've tried testing the other versions with their own respective mods and they don't work either or don't want to load
but something i've noticed is this, like if the mod doesn't wants to "load" in the first place, i've got this picture

But aside that well, if it doesn't works and it's not much of a bother I could try an old version of the mod
@KRX34 Oh, that's because it is a BeardLib mod, PAYDAY 2 doesn't detect files in mods made with BeardLib in mind, so it doesn't show any files. Other than that, I can't think of what might have caused this, I recommend going to Modworkshop's Discord server to ask to see if it is caused by something from this mod particular or other technical problems, you could also reach me there easier if the issue you're facing is caused by the mod itself. Good luck.
