This mod fixes the overly dark textures along with compression artifacts. Whoever worked on this, forgot about the fact that diesel shaders hate black/dark colors and that BC3 format absolutely chews them on during compression phase.
What does this mod do? It fixes the color spectrum on the outfit, fixes the suit fabric lining on the back and as a bonus, also fixes the normalmap format which uses DXT5NM compression instead to save the memory.

Soon I will update this mod and fix the Model Proportions on Female/Male models.
I removed the compression artifacts on the diffuse and made it compliant with the current deferred shaders, making it match the same look as it was on the official render because Diesel has a tendency not to use Gamma exposure on the textures due to changes in the shaders (Despite the fact they are actually called out in the shaders, they remain unused). As a nice bonus I've optimized the normals so it does not use the NVTT headers but rather use DXT5NM ones so the memory is not affected by the huge amount of drawcalls coming from one texture as it currently uses one, it also helps with the lighting issues both on Flat/VR screen. Soon I will re-do the whole weighting on the models and update this mod to include a more natural and better looking proportions for the characters on the diesel rig. Starting from female character models that look horrendous.
Image in question to the render
TL;DR of what I've posted would be:
Less darker tone on the outfit because diesel engine hates dark colors in general (I'd suggest to google the phrase "BC3 DDS Compression"), if not, this image below might help
Diesel uses DDS Conversion. (Last image)
As for the mod itself, it gives the texture more depth and visibility on the lighting and better functionality with less memory impact for both VR/Flat screen user.
I hope this answers your post

so you just.. made it less dark? or am I not seeing something?
