"So we really finna do this shit? We're finna risk our lives to rob some motherfucking government killers again?"
"Yup"
UPDATE: i've fixed that huge silence in the control track, thanks to the user Sraigius for letting me know ;)
Here it is! My personal mix for "Nine Blurt" (also known as the theme for the missions "Blitz Play" and "Caida Libre")
Made with the in game audio files (Extracted with OpenIV)
Installation: put the "Nine Blurt" folder in the mod_overrides folder
Dude, your mix is so much better than the one that was made by another person and uploaded on modworkshop (name is "A Haze of Patriotic Fervor from GTA V"). While both his and yours mods are good, your mod has a better, more enjoyable music structure. By the way, i could give you a recommendation for improvement. If you could, maybe you could update this track and add rng-based alternative control phase track that goes like THIS from here: https://youtu.be/cxN-nXcwJwI?t=19
from 0:19 to 1:13
And by the way, why is there a huge chunk of completely silence in control.ogg? https://i.imgur.com/ohI4FSH.png
Thanks for the feedback!
I've seen the alternative phase tracks from another music mod, i might try and make something like that soon
and about the silence in control.ogg, it's because i screwed up by not deleting the rest of the track when i was making the control track, sorry about that lol
@Sir Shadow
Awesome. As far as i know, alternative variants can be done with CustomOST compatible mods, good old fashioned mod_overrides though? I'm not sure, i have never seen a beardlib music mod with alternative tracks, only the ones created specifically for CustomOST . But hey, i have both beardlib and CustomOST installed, so anything goes.
@Sraigius yes, there is a music mod for Super Gore Nest from Doom Eternal for beardlib that has alt tracks
i stopped using CustomOST because it crashes my game a lot and it's way too outdated
@Sir Shadow
I don't think so. I tried a couple customOST tracks that i have, which would be "The Paleto Score" and "Doom Eternal Gladiator music" (i have another eight, but i only tried two today) and i played two crime spree maps with those selected tracks and as god Howard once said, "it just works" you know. Probably another mod that you have is busted, perhaps some other mod is creating an incompatibility problem? Maybe you have installed some HUD mod or map optimization mod? Something more serious than music additions? Cuz i played the game with customOST tracks playing and no problems whatsoever.
