The BR55 is unlocked at Level 55 and will appear as the VHS (Lion's Roar) for other players.
The BR55 functions as it does in the Halo games: aim for the head for constant one burst kills, delivering steady damage at all ranges.

The BR55 is balanced around the idea that you're getting one burst kills on the common SWAT enemies on the higher difficulties.
The damage is set at 85, which is exactly enough damage to 3 shot headshot tan SWATs without skills ... or one burst the tan swats if all 3 shots hit the head.
The fire rate seems oddly high at 900RPM, but this is roughly the speed of the burst in Halo 2.
The kick values are tuned to kick straight up in a predictable pattern, true to the Halo 2/Infinite depiction. You may consider aiming lower than usual so the kick will force all 3 shots to land on the head.
The Accuracy and stability/recoil stats were balanced to replicate the BR55 feel in the Halo games, mostly 2 and Infinite's BR75.
The base ammo pickup is 2-5 bullets per pickup before bonus multipliers, which is plenty if you're careful with your aim and can consistently kill targets in one burst.

Known Issues/Limitations:
- The ammo counter will appear on melee weapons, grenades, and on other interactables. I didn't code the ammo counter, but I don't think you can do much about that.

Q: When will you make (insert Halo weapon name here)?
A: Go away.
A: Well, that answer was short lived.
With MWS seemingly lifting the Microsoft asset embargo on me, the only limitations I have are on projectile SFX (Covvie weapons), my pocketbook (I dont have unlimited money to send to playbonk) and/or hold animations breaking (shotgun/SPNKr). You'll just have to give me time to figure out what is feasable or not.
Q: BXR? Doubleshot? Quadshot? (Insert other Halo 2 button combos here)?
A: At one point in development, Offyerrocker actually managed to code BXR, but it constantly crashed when I tried it. As for Doubleshot/Quad shot, the weapon already fires pretty fast under the burst fire mod, so Double/Quadshot is not necessary.
