The character shown in the mod was ported within possibilities of character model modding in diesel engine! Created with Znixian's Model Tool.
This mod has been optimized to play well with Diesel's memory safety limits, meaning no crashes whatsoever but it's always recommended to set your texture settings to medium, rather than ''high''. This particular model is in range of Kento's polycount.
Installation: Drag the folder from the archive to your mod_overrides folder, example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2\assets\mod_overrides
You'll find Toga (and the exclusive variant) in the Outfits tab inside your inventory.
Requirements for this mod in order to work properly:
The hand model is too big for the glove model sizes, so if you could shrink her hand model by about 30% of it's current size, or just copy the other vanilla heisters' hand models, I would really appreciate it.
The subtitle and description for when you hover over her option in the Armor options doesn't make any sense. Instead of random stuff with no association to Himiko Toga at all like tacos, AKs, and gunpowder, could you highlight her love for blood and nervous green-haired boys?
This mod was made in the Vertex Era, this was made FAR before I went through with the effort on getting custom skined meshes a possibility in the model tool alongside Znix, and the only reason why this mod was made was because of a PAYDAY 2 Modder called GermanTacos who loves Toga, hence why the description is in relation to that person.
This mod went through at least two iterations of porting: Vertex Port, Model port. Do not use any LAS mods from past two years, a lot has changed ever since that time. I am a very busy man and I don't intend to look through and revive mods from the past unless somebody really wants me to do it (Do note that my time is super limited and I don't have time for things like that because I would need to redo the port from scratch, this was made only as a reason to prove my concept of the custom character ports on the LAS side being a possibillity and that goes way back to over 3-4 years ago by now).
A lot of stuff can happen within just only one year when Starbreeze updates Diesel. Glove Market feature was one of them.
@Matthelzor The only other Himiko Toga reskin (that is made specifically for Payday 2 in mind) available anywhere online that I could find is the original 1.0 version uploaded before the Definitive Edition version was made, which appears to have lighting issues, yet somehow has better hand models that are mostly compatible with the glove models (some textures clipping around the palms) than the Definitive Edition. Should I just make a request on the Payday 2 Modding Discord for someone to make an "Ultimate Edition" where they throw in the Definitive Edition's base model, but also the superior hand models of the 1.0 Edition's? I mananged to find both a Gmod model and SFM model made of Himiko Toga, so maybe one or both of those could be used as the "Ultimate Edition" theoretically, assuming no noteworthy issues arise from porting those models into the files.
That was the Vertex Port and it was made out of the PAYDAY 2 model (Ultra complicated process that only I know how to perform of all people in the modding scene) due to the limitations on the model tool side which was made way before bones and skinning was an actual thing. The lighting issues have gotten vastly progressive with how often the Engine is being updated with new functions and shaders. Past Vertex Port releases were unable to be treated regarding Seams, besides this stuff was a proof of concept after all in fact.
If you truly want someone to redo the port then my suggestion for you would be to make a request for the mod on the ModWorkshop Discord at this point, just note that people do value their time and what you are asking for is a matter of hours for an average ''LAS'' porter who does not aim for Quality and rather rushes the awkward release to the public, so if you don't want that to happen I'd suggest to make it more of a commission request and somebody will eventually pick it up. And before i'll end this post, you should appreciate the time that people such as myself put out towards the past LAS releases, those have been a crown jewel of the model modding scenes and have only gotten better with time ever since.
If your request gets denied or ignored then well, tough luck so I wish you the best in that regard. Cheers
@Matthelzor Uh... okay? Wasn't trying to diss/ underappreciate you or other mod makers, just wanted to understand more about how character reskin mods worked in this game. Not sure where you got that idea from, but thankfully the Discord channel informed me that I can use a Gmod/SFM model as a basis for a request, so I could possibly use something like this or this as either a standalone request, or use them as a foundation and construct them for this game's engine instead.
Trust me when I say that I have a ton of appreciation for those who have to deal with computer code. Took a middle school computer programming class, and it was the first class I ever broke down in tears from due to how fucking nonsensical all of it felt. And besides, they're requests, not mandatory. I only hope their interest in trying to accomplish the request is from a mutual interest in the idea, though I understand monetary compensation is a stronger incentive than a stranger's digital gratitude message.

Only have two complaints about this mod:
And here are my three answers:
