Gage: You wouldn't believe me on this one. A cyborg ninja by the name of Raiden have supplied us with some new futuristic melee weapons from his employers. Apparently he's from another timeline, but I am not going to question how he ended up here in D.C. Anyways, these weapons should be better than your standard ones, Raiden said you could even deflect bullets with them too. Knock yourself out, go nuts.
This mod adds the iconic main and side melee weapons of the main characters of the game METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE.
Five new melee weapons are included in this pack:
- High Frequency Blade
- High Frequency Murasama
- Pole Arm (L'Etranger)
- Tactical Sais (Dystopia)
- Pincer Blades (Bloodlust)
All weapons in this pack excluding the Pincer Blades have a special ability. Bullet deflection, any bullets that were shot by a unit (excluding SWAT Turrets) will be deflected if the user has charged their weapon when the shot hits the player, negating the damage, and will temporarily stun the enemy who hit the player. The HF Blade. HF Murasama and Pincer Blades are also able to decapitate cloakers without any special requirements.
- The HF Blade will unlock at Level 75. Weapon will appear as The Shinsakuto Katana for other players.
- The HF Murasama Blade will unlock at Level 90. Weapon will appear as The Shinsakuto Katana for other players.
- The Pincer Blades "Bloodlust" will unlock at Level 85. Weapon will appear as The Morning Star for other players.
- The Tactical Sai's "Dystopia" will unlock at Level 65. Weapon will appear as The Specialist Knives for other players.
- The Pole-arm "L'Etranger" will unlock at Level 50. Weapon will appear as The Spear of Freedom for other players.

To disable the deflect feature, go to the weapon's folder, open the "main" file (with something like notepad), and in the same line as the melee id there is a value named "deflect" which will be set to true. Simply set it to false and the weapon will no longer deflect bullets.

@Shinycatcher247 You could try removing the deflect value entirely and see if it works. Be warned that the weapons are balanced around the ability to deflect, so stats such as full charge damage were not accounted for due to deflection. I might make a version of the mod with no deflection if there's enough demand for it.

@Shinycatcher247 Thank you! I mostly just did the models and weapons. The deflect feature was only possible because of Cpone, and I've gotten some help with the particle effects from Fuglore, so you should give credit to them too.
