"Noveske is just the Gucci of AR parts." - Leon S. "squish" - GermanTacos "very nice" - kden "weapon" - Matthelzor
Adds a cool new Noveske Rifleworks N4 Gen III to the game for you to play around with. It's like.... hmm. A CAR-4 but made in Oregon? No, that's not incorrect but it's still stupid. There's something I can probably write here but I'm too tired to come up with anything original.
By default, it's configured as the Diplomat model, but can be modded to be the full-sized Afghan model if so desired for that authentic Breach & Clear experience.
Also comes with full skin support, and proper skin textures that do their job thanks to Rex and his substance painter magic. Oh and two game rip skins, being a Sydney Safe rip and a Completely (B)OVERKILL Safe rip. I like to think I'm nice.
As for stats, in more specific terms, it's got high accuracy and slightly above normal in-class damage but its recoil is a tad aggressive and requires either careful tap-firing or stability-centric modification to use. It can also be reclassed to deal damage comparable to a LMG, for those of you who like Body Expertise or want maximum concealment and over 64 damage at the same time and don't mind a small penalty to pickup rate.
Also comes with a cooltastic(tm) Magpul BAD lever, a pretty slick Magpul CTR stock, a kind of shitty custom magazine, and then a s u b l i m e custom magazine. You'll see what I mean.
Requires BeardLib. Requires Custom Attachment Points (or WeaponLib). Custom Attachments for Custom Weapons is recommended - adds more attachments and makes your Noveske more tacticool. Weapon Painter is recommended - enables use of tan finish and blue finish options.
Goes in mod_overrides.
Future Roadmap:
Spoiler!
More custom attachments. I'm thinking either stocks or iron sights.Done!More weapon skins.Weapon Painter stuff counts, right?- Purely cosmetic charging handle options.
Known Issues:
Spoiler!
- There's some weirdass baked lighting going on with the weapon textures in a few places because this weapon was never intended for use with unfolded iron sights/different gadget positions/barrel extensions in variable places.
- If you tilt the weapon *juuuuust* right in the blackmarket screen you can see through the gun. Again, this is because we're doing things that the model wasn't meant for here.
- Mild bit of clipping with the base-game PMAG and anything derived from it if you remove the magwell grip this gun comes with. It looks a lot better in-game than it does in the inventory, but still.
