RM-22 Maverick Assault Rifle
i would have done a weapon from a game other than call of duty ghosts but someone on the mws discord wanted this so whoever you are HERE YOU GO
Gage: You know, I've stolen many things from Murkywater over the years, but there's one thing in particular that always intrigues me. There was this battle rifle, looking like a mix between a Falcon and something off the set of District 9, in one shipment I... er, delayed. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It took me months before I could even understand how its mechanism worked, and keep in mind that I'm an expert on the matter. I looked into it some more, and I found it was coming from a company in Brazil that didn't actually exist. I just brushed it off as some government project Murkywater stole at first, but then, well, after what you saw at Henry's Rock I did some more, ah... social engineering, and found that it was actually something Murkywater had commissioned for... "a new kind of war." Thought it was meant for something like space combat, but one of the engineering guys told me on the way out that it was meant for... creatures older than the dinosaurs, once servants to the kataru or nephilim or whatever those giant things Duke's so afraid of were, now run amok with time, deep within the earth. I would dismiss it as a bunch of hogwash, yes, but with what you found in those coffers, I don't think anything's out of the picture anymore...
Adds a new assault rifle, being the Maverick from Call of Duty: Ghosts, to the game. It's basically like Pawcio's LaRue OBR, but with slightly better handling and full-auto capability in exchange for being a complete and utter non-option for any build involving dodge or crits.
Let it be noted for the record that this gun also has skin support, and comes with three different weapon skins for you to use as you see fit.
Decompress this into mod_overrides.
BeardLib is REQUIRED. BLT and/or SuperBLT is REQUIRED. Custom Attachment Points is REQUIRED. Burstfire is NOT REQUIRED but STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Known Issues:
- Right side of weapon is missing a fire selector and has a visible texture seam on the stock. Blame Infinity Ward.
Angleshadow on magazine with skins applied is a little wonky. I'm pretty sure this is still something that has to be blamed on Infinity Ward but don't quote me on that.nvm fixed- Bolt doesn't move when reloading from empty. This isn't actually Infinity Ward's fault - this was a sacrifice I had to make in order to ensure that the body UVs worked properly. Sorry about that.
- The iron sights are simultaneously flipped up and flipped down at the same time because of a model error.
