Put the "Optimization Improvements" folder in your "Maps" folder. steamapps/common/PAYDAY 2/Maps/
I improved performance in some maps by adding something called "portals".

This mod should work fine in multiplayer and should be able to be used even if the map gets updated.
Feel free to post a screenshot if anything that should be rendered is unrendered.
Mod is nice... when it's not randomly crashes on Buluc' Mansion on loud. Well, how randomly - I had crashes like this:
