If you have ever installed custom weapons and forgot to sell them before removing, chances are you now have a broken save file, leaving you unable to open the game. This mod attempts to fix that.
REMOVE ALL OTHER MODS FIRST. This includes Beardlib. This should go without saying, but apparently not.
Mod should be removed after use. Ideally, you should install this mod, start the game, exit the game, then remove the mod again. Nothing terrible happens if you forget to remove it, but you might run into some minor issues. This mod does not clear your inventory, so don't worry about that.
To install, extract the zip file into PAYDAY 2/mods. You must have the BLT Hook installed. To uninstall, simply remove the CustomWeaponCrashFix folder again.
I think youre confused here. This mod is for crashes due to save file that has custom weapons, when the the file in your payday 2 directory does not. Happens when you completely deleted the mod from your files but forgot to sell it in game, or like me; installed payday 2 after so long and have tonnes of mods installed in the past. Thus the game wont even load in to the main menu when I launch the game. It crashes right after the "Press any button to continue" screen.
The one youre sharing is when the weapon crashes the game in game. Still can load the menu, inventory ect but crashes when trying to do heist, so this mod can help if you dont know which custom weapon mods or even custom mods for weapons is the culprit for crashing the game.

That's not gonna help. Usually when people have custom weapon crashes, they can't even reach the menu, so how would they even sell everything?
