While I'm at it, I'd like to point out some mishaps and oversights in this mod page.

1: The K3's factory spec ammunition feeding device isn't a magazine of any sort, it's the belt.
2: The K3 isn't a LMG, it's a SAW or an LSW.
3: The K3 can use both K2 and K3 magazines, however that doesn't mean it can't use AR-15, M4, M16, SCAR-L, TAR-21, Tavor X95, FN FNC, FN F2000, IMBEL MD, IMBEL IA2, C7, C8, QBZ-95, HS VHS, Springfield Hellion, CZ 805 Bren, CZ BREN 2, FAMAS, HK416, and MK 556 and SOOO many more because that's the point, they were, by NATO, standardized! even non-NATO countries are getting in on the craze because they're just so common! imagine that!
4: The STANAG magazine port on the K3 probably doesn't mean a faster reload, they weren't very reliable so I doubt that the port would've been well or easily designed to get the magazine in there in the first place.
5: None of that got to my main problem though, the problem that is so massive and gaping that this doesn't make any sense to have as a mod gun. The real K3 was removed from service and replaced with the K15 in 2018, the K15 being a modernized, and more importantly FIXED version. The original K3 was so utterly garbage that it was named by the soldiers who had to use it "The world's first bolt action machinegun". Something else I should point out, is that on the M294, something of which the K3 is a direct and almost exact copy of, the STANAG magazine port is famously not very reliable, and it's easy to see why. The bolt has to strip rounds from the magazine at an odd angle, and the bolt itself isn't even designed to strip rounds from anything, it's designed to shove em in a chamber and fire, the belt feed takes care of that. Which is why it is my opinion that if the gun was to be fed exclusively from the STANAG magazine port, it'd'nt be very efficient, fast(which is what you claim it is), and most importantly reliable. Now I can tell that you didn't scroll down an inch on the wikipedia page, but you made this mod in 2018, and the article had a little part in the middle talking about how it was replaced by the K15, and you know when that happened? 2018.

I still like the mod, the animation was just fixed so I might start using it, and I don't think the mod design itself was lazy or bad or anything, you did the best you could trying to make the K3 feed from STANAG mags and you don't know how to make animations, you were trying to make it unique but you couldn't support it, but I never give credit for bad research, and if 1 mod has less research than logical, it's this one.

-what I meant by box magazine is in fact the belt feed one, stupid 2017 me thought box magazine is the proper term for the default belt feed box one
-if you refer the LMG mistake as the naming I put here: "Adds K3 Light Machine Gun as Primary LMG", the LMG name is a by-product of Payday 2 attaching the term LMG to the name of all the machine gun in the game at that time.
but even then, I dont really delve into the machine gun categorization, so it still could be a mistake I made on my part as I'll just dump all the MG-looking gun into LMG name xd
-most of your point seems to take problem with my short description. It should never be taken as a real-life peer-reviewed wikipedia-like information that people can reference as hard factual data. Its there just as a short intro for the custom weapon, and because I like styling my modpage like that.
-I know about the FN Minimi STANAG feed problem even before porting this mod. Why did I choose that as the main feed option for this custom weapon is variance.
this K3 original asset from Warface does feed from the normal belt-feed box, but porting that as-is is just making a clone of vanilla M249 in pd2, and if you know me as a custom weapon modder, I like making quite wacky custom weapon and making them a little bit more unique compared to vanilla option.
This gun even have the option to use the quadstack mag, which is AR15 based and surely standardized to NATO spec.
-following the prev point, to make this K3 not a clone of M249, I decide to 'gamify' its STANAG mag feed by balancing it as a faster option compared to LMG with belt-feed while the downside is that it'll never reach the 100-round count hallmark of LMG strength.
-Payday 2 as a game doesnt really feature gun jamming/malfunction mechanic, hence why I decided not to replicate those 'boring' real-life details in an arcade shooter game like Payday 2.
-K15 is indeed a gorgeous gun, but in 2017 I dont think theres a single game that features them xd (This mod is published in Nov 2017, and have been in the work months before it).
Hell, even game featuring K3 is rare as it is if you want it from a "western produced" FPS game, instead of Asian F2P FPS that usually features less poly asset quality to optimize for Asian low-end pc thats used by many pc gaming center.
If in the future there's a beautiful K15 asset I can get, I'll probably take it for customization part for this gun mod (like those unique buttstock shape), but this mod base will always be the K3 form.
