One of exclusive weapon that's been banned to be exported out of the country due to Anti-Hardware export policy. So it rarely see an adaptation in big shooter game.
A Japan original assault rifle into the modern warfare. High production cost kinda make the gun unfavorable for the JSDF procurement.
It borrows many design element from the AR-18.

Features 1 Barrel option, 2 Mag option, 2 stock option, and a bayonet option (only works with CFMCW).
And a conversion kit to change Type 89 5.56 NATO Assault Rifle into the Type 64 .30 caliber Battle Rifle.
Type 64 kit will change how the weapon plays out, stat-wise, as well as reload animation.
Most of the attachment option is only compatible with the modern Type 89, so the old Type 64 will have limited options.
