I'm looking for a lost mod

Hello!

Recently i've been trying to download a Payday 2 mod called "Optimised world" by △urelius. It helped a lot with performance of my game making it run at stable framerate. Few days ago when i decided to redownload the game and get all the mods that improved performance again,i couldn't find the mod mentioned above. I asked on r/paydaytheheist subreddit and learned that the mod was deleted by the original creator. The game without "Optimised world" doesn't run as smoothly as before and it's bothering me.

Does anyone still have an archive of this mod? maybe in mod_overrides or an old link to it? It would be great if i could get my hands on it again.

That following mod that you've mentioned has been removed by the author for an unknown reason, eventually tracking down on from my perspective the reasoning behind it why, is due to the mod causing the game to be more prone to crashing than before only to be caused by incorrect texturing formats in the mod itself, that alone has affected a lot of texture files in the game. If the mod was still up, somebody would eventually fix it because it kinda sucks to see something as useful as this to be gone forever.

In the mean time, for now, I'd heavily would recommend you to get this mod that has the same premise as the one above, except it does not modify the textures but rather all the maps in the game. https://github.com/RedFlamer/Map-Based-Optimizations

There might be one person in the world that might have archived the said mod above, I do remember that being a google drive link a while ago. I do know how important this type of mods are for people with Low-End PC's which is a reason why I've made a mod similiar to this but for RAID: World War II for others to enjoy. If somebody has the archive of the said mod above, I will be glad to look into it and fix the formats so there is no more crashes and eventually revive the mod.

Thank you for shining more light about the mod. I'll download Map Based Optmizations and see how that will help with my performance. I still have hope that someone someday may upload the mod on a file sharing service.
